Burlington International Airport
BTV (Burlington's airport & bumper-sticker abbreviation), is the closest airport to travel through for the weekend's festivities.
The airport has most major car rental kiosks onsite including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National.
Rideshare services Uber & Lyft are also available, as well as several taxi cabs, and a public bus route (Route 11) dropping off in downtown Burlington steps away from the nearest hotels to the venue.
AMTRAK- Ethan Allen Express Train
At around 7.5 hours Ethan Allen (not-quite) Express Train train runs daily out of New York City (Moynihan Train Hall at Penn Station). Once arrived at Union Station in downtown Burlington, the venue and surrounding hotels (including Hotel Champlain) are all walking distance from the train station.
UPDATE- Mike & Madison recently took the Amtrak to tend to some on-location wedding planning and were pleasantly surprised with the Amtrak travel experience. Cushioned seats are comfier than anything on a coach flight along with the leg room you only wish you had in coach. Train is equipped with tray tables, outlets, decent enough wi-fi and a cafe car with more F&B options than you might expect (including beer & wine). Views from a window seat along the glistening Hudson River and into Vermont's luscious green mountains make for a serene, even refreshing travel experience.
The train out of NYC left at 2:15pm and arrived at Union Station (Burlington) at 9:50pm. Our welcome reception will end at midnight on Friday, 6/27, leaving at least 60-90 mins after checking into the hotel to enjoy the remainder of the welcome reception if choosing this travel option. Please be sure to check the Amtrak website this Spring '25 for the latest schedule & fare updates.
The round trip in late February was less than $165. This is likely to change as the seasons will. Just like booking any travel in general, you'll get the best prices by booking in advance.

Nearby hotels are listed below- all of them steps away from the venue. We have secured a limited amount of rooms at Hotel Champlain for $299/night (plus applicable taxes & fees, 2-night minimum stay). We do not have room blocks in any other hotels.

Hotel Champlain Burlington Curio Collection by Hilton
This is the preferred hotel for the wedding, as the Welcome Reception and post-wedding Sunday brunch will be taking place at this hotel. This is the only hotel with a designated room block/discounted rate.
Near Church Street Marketplace, make yourself at home in one of the 258 guest rooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations, designer toiletries, and hair dryers. Conveniences include laptop-compatible safes and desks, as well.
